Dr. Terry Whisnant created Horizon Seminars in 1982, as a foundation for his workshops on training college teachers methods to improve classroom instruction. Since that time, the company has expanded to become a full convention, conference, and workshop presentation company. As president of the company, Dr. Whisnant has personally conducted over 600 presentations on leadership, motivation, team management, teaching strategies, and self-improvement. His doctoral curriculum of Instructional Leadership from Virginia Tech and 25 years in college teaching serves as the basis of many of his teaching and leadership seminars. He is joined by a group of hand-selected associates who offer a variety of programs, topic expertise, and presentation styles.
